There are some decent Doctors here but it takes a period of trial and error to find the right Dr for you, the issue with this Surgery is the reception staff, incredibly rude both in person and on the phone. They have introduced a new telephone system so it means you have to wait about 10 times longer now to speak to someone or make an appointment. I tried returning a call this morning after receiving a message from the surgery to call them, probably to postpone my appointment next week. I gave up after 23 min waiting on the line and I had only gone from being 4th in the queue to 3rd.
I started calling on the dot at 8am, it was engaged for 15 minutes, I finally got through and then was on hold for a further 45 minutes! When finally I spoke to a receptionist she informed me that there were no appointments for my 83 year old dad that day. Absolutely unbelievable. There is a 3 week wait for an appointment or you call on the day. No allowances seem to be made for the elderly , there was no alternative offered, just to call again tomorrow.
